Default Results of last nights track runs....

well...sorry guys but i didnt get into the 12's...several issues i have to take care of...here are the results of last nights runs...

1st pass: 1.71 60 ft
8.31 1/8 @ 82.2 mph
13.31 1/4 @ unknown
I missed 4th gear on this run and still cant believe I pulled a 13.3??? This was also my best 60 of the night...

2nd pass: 1.75 60 ft
8.42 1/8 @ 80.466
13.28 1/4 @ unknown

3rd pass: 1.73 60 ft
8.46 1/8 @ 80.118
13.33 1/4 @ unknown

4th pass: 1.73 60 ft
8.47 1/8 @ 80.13
13.36 1/4 @ unknown

Like i mentioned earlier...a couple things i have to take care of...

ONE...i had previously upgraded my brakes to the bigger sn95's and i never changed over my master cylinder or booster or proportioning valve...so when i was doing a burnout, my front brakes didnt want to hold me so i had to let off and never saw white smoke come out of the slicks on all 4 passes...

SECOND...i have new adjustable suspension and just as i thought, i am gonna have to go to the track a couple of times before i am able to dial it in properly...i think the adjustments are off a little bit and not allowing me to properly hook...my car was unloading the wheels...trial and error i guess...reminds me of my ex-mach...took a couple of tries before i got it to hook hard

On a positive note...my e-fan and aluminum ds are working great...if i wouldve ran those 1/8th times without those 2 mods...i'd be running 13.5's...so i actually picked up about 2-3 tenths on the top end...my 60 is killing me so if i can get my 60 back down to a mid 1.6 like before...i think id get that 12.99 or better...

so with that being said...i gotta fine tune my suspension and get my front brakes to hold me (possibly a line lock too) and hit the track again and hope for the best...

Darn mph sensor at the track was not working so who knows what i was coming out at??? I wont let you all down...i'll be back! lol

it all part of the learning curve with a bunch of new parts

get that puppy dial in and you will get it......

since the beer is on ice can we celebrate the fan & driveshaft doing there job.....

You'll get there!

Anytime you make a lot of changes to suspension it takes time to get it dialed in. That's not a surprise. However, since you never got the tires to the correct temp you may want to correct that before doing anything to the suspension. You can't really say you learned anything about it from those runs.

I'd definitely put in a line lock. You'll get a more consistent burnout that way.

Get those tires to temp and see what happens! Who knows maybe the suspension isn't that far off after all!

hey in my opinion thats still awsome! you'll get in the 12's dont worry about it. i always have issues at the track, like missing 2nd or some bs like that but i keep goin! its too fun to stop!! god luck next week! im going tonight!!! hopefully i'll do better this season!!

Hey, I know what it's like to want twelves. Maybe my next round of mods will do it. You're unhappy with 1.7 sixty foot times where I'm happy with 1.9 sixty foot times!

What gear are you doing your burnout in? You definitely didn't look like you had enough wheel speed (from the video)! I realize you were having brake issues, just wondering about the gear?

Remember it's not just about smoking them, you have to reach the right temp. You need to be hitting 50mph in your burnout, or there abouts, with those tires.

It also looked like the car was nosing over a bit off the line. The one launch looked pretty good (second one maybe?) then she nosed over a bit.

I think that car can run a 12.** as she sits.

I definitely get some line locks and take care of that brake issue.

no doubt thats a 12 sec car.....

i saw the same as PL , it is nosing over a little it not settling in on tires at launch .......

a line lock will help with the burnout.....

but i say again thats a 12 sec car......

BTW that is one nice looking notch.....

Thanks guys for the input...

i guess maybe before i make more adjustments i should get that line lock in there and heat them tires up alot better....then see what it does...if i still have issues than i can look into making some adjustments...

i was in 1st gear doing the burnout...i shouldve been in second once i noticed that my breaks werent holding me....i would always stay in first but i didnt have issues with the breaks...
