Default Drag Racing + Good Friends= Good Times!
Well a bunch of us from Strictly Performance went out to Houston Raceway park Friday night. We rolled out almost 9 deep with every thing from Fox's to Hemi Cuda's!

One of my friends had just finished his car and made his first ever pass down the track! ran a 12.08!!

I didn't set any new personnel best's (ran a couple 9.20's) but had a great time!

This is my buddies fox making it's first passes.....heck these were his first passes! He'd never been down the track before!

He had a great time! Best pas was an 11.70! Not bad for the first couple times down the track!

Couple other of the cars with us!

Joe has a 03 cobra motor in his car, still has the stock Eaton in it. It was WAY too much for this Vette and the guy gave up the chase at the 1/8th! Joe laid down a 10.20!

Thanks for sharing the vids. All of those cars launched very well. Who wants to line up against a car with a chute or wheelie bars? Think there would be a bit of intimidation factor going on. But how come you never post any videos of your grabber orange GT500 resting safely in the garage under a car cover? Now that's something to which I could relate.

I'd take a pic of the Shelby.....but it's quitely resting......I don't want to disturb it!

Yeah, we had a good time. We run all those cars in some sort of class, bracket or headsup so they are pretty much dialed in. Well accept for Matt's fox! It's been on a lift outside the shop for 2 years, we all pitched in and helped him get it finished over the last few weeks.

Well it's final.....

In regards to suspension....I guess I'll have to give credit to our fearless leader Riochard Lelsz (The Txas Tourque Tornado). He does know how to launch a car!

Yes, excellent videos. Thanks for sharing. I bet Matt is definitly hooked now!

Two more weeks!!! I'm going to the track for the first time in two years with my car. Doing some tuning this weekend and heading the the track the following. Man.... I can't wait!

Building it right from the beginning is always better than starting over to build it better because it was temporary.

93' LX hatch, 460 with mods, TH400 trans, 9" w/ 3.89 spool. Best (so far!) of 10.18 @ 131 mph with 1.39 60'
