That launch is holding you back bro. In time you will nail it perfect though, Good trap speed atleast = ) 118 is good for a low 12- 11.89... I would think at least.

I already ordered some traction help.
Im gettin 2 more factory rims and putting on some Mickey Thompson ET Streets. I have the tires already. They are sitting in the garage. Im waiting on the rims. They are used takeoff rims but they match my rims and will only see the track.
I am gonna try one more time on the Pirellis. Its just I cant give it full throttle until the end of 2nd gear. I suspect my clutch doesnt have much more time on this earth. It was smelling a little on my last run. I am planning on getting the P51 clutch upgrade. It uses a Roush clutch disk with shims. You reuse the stock pressure plate and flywheel.

With a 1.79 60' the car went 11.515 at 120mph (they gave me the boot after that one, they don't like verts without rollcages doing that LOL). I think I could have ringed another tenth out of her!
That may give you an idea of the potential on your car.
Congrats and keep working on that launch!

WOW...something fo rme to shoot for! I figure since I wont be adding a roll cage to my vert, even after I supercharge it, I too will follow your foot steps and get booted off the track. What an honor...get booted for being too fast.
I went to one of the speed calculators and 117 should be good for 11.5's. Thats a very respectable street car.
To be honest, rollcage or not, 11.5 was always my top end goal. Since my car is a street/show car, I felt 11.5 really is as fast I am looking to go. I will just admire the 11.4 and faster cars from afar. So if I can 11.5 and then get booted from the track, I will have accomplished my goal.

Hey I figure I have been thrown out of better places for worse reasons, guess that makes it an accomplishment!
Honestly, I was pretty happy to ee the car go that fast and post that type of time. She really isn't set up as a drag racing car.

Those are what I run, great tires. They need to be heated up pretty good and they will hook. Get ready at the tree, it will take some practice. You are going to be in the high11`s to low 12`s , just my 2 cents.
