well it is a different world on the track compared to the street.....
i would not be to concern with the times....
as i have said so many time faster et's come with seat time....
for your next time my advice would be concentrate on lowering your 60' and launching the car as in finding that sweet spot between bogging the motor and blowing the tires....
trust the more you go the faster you will get....
the best thing you were racing in a controlled safe enviroment and you didn't break the car....

1st thing is always the 60' as Reg said. You were overpowering the track with the tires you have. You just need to remember the first rule "spinning isn't winning".
You should try launching the car like you were trying to shoot across a busy intersection. Accelerate evenly from there. I'm willing to bet you'll net a better time!
It's just a matter of seat time!

Dropping the pressure on street tires won't garner much. I certainly would go that low.

There was a new challenger srt8 with a stick shift there and i ran with the guy three times and killed him every time his best run was around a 14.7 so maybe a bad driver or just a difficult car to drag in

those things are nothing but a huge engine attached to a cool looking wieght but the srt8 modle should run alot faster than that i think they have like 427 hp or something like that nice that you beat it heck my lil sixxer would beat that
yeah im going to the control arms next then driveshaft and then some mickey thompsons. what else can i do to get my ETs down driving wise?
You want to get a safety loop, adjustable Upper control arm so you can set the pinion angle where you want it. I also have the CHE relocation brackets, and I welded them on also. Che Performance makes great suspension products. I also use there safety loop and Powerhouse drive shaft. Great drive shaft by the way.

The Srt8 Challengers with stick's have a HUGE problem with wheel hop that the automatics don't have. Not sure why. I imagine the guy could never hook that thing up.
