Default Quick safety reminder!!!

To all that is not aware,

Please make sure that when you take your vehicle to the track that there is no antifreeze in the system. If that gets on the track it is like oil on the track but harder to clean up!

You have to put straight water or add a water additive if running too hot.

I watch a mustang go before me and a radiator hose blew and sprayed antifreeze all the way down the track after he almost hit the wall trying to control it. This brings me to #2 of this reminder.

If there is a problem, GET OFF THE TRACK!!! Pull to the side right away and STOP!! This person kepted going and caused and hour and a half delay for the cleanup!

Needless to say I was alittle nervous after this because I was the next in line to go. I don't want to hit that spot where the crew might have missed and cause me to get out of control.

Please, a very serious reminder!!

Last weekend at Beech Bend, we had a diesel truck that spewed antifreeze all over the track. The Firebird behind him didn't know, and the track hands didn't notice. He did a 720-degree spin and hit the wall just past the 1/8th mile mark.......
