No I planned on running the same setup for this last weekend to best my time and then switch the fuel jet when I got home to datalog the difference it has.
It sprayed fine yeterday when I tried to test he solenoid but when I tried to spray today on the road to check it, it didn't kick like normal so I have to check the jet again and if that doesn't work I'll have to send it in to replace the solonoids. got to love that limited warrenty, and yet hate the down time it will probaly intell.
I have been using nitrous for a while and have always been told not to put bottle preesure over 1000 that between 900 and 1000 is perfect. I could be wrong but it seemed to work fine.
Also I hae a question that could solve my prob. I just started to leave the nitrous on and pressurised at al times instead of wasting purging out the line would this mess up the nitrous solonoid. without the torch the bottle stays at about 7 in t he morning and around 9 when it warms up I think this could be a problem and failed to mention it.
Do our other key nitrous users purge or leave it live? I use it often and hate wasting the full line of spray.
I do purge so to speak, I do goose it to clear the old nos in the line before launch. Now when I am not at the track I take my bottle off. Thats just me.

Ok I thought the colder the bottle the leaner the motor ran. Now the higher the bottle temp (more pressure) The richer it will run. Is this not the case. I was told this by the guy who did my dyno. I would`nt be surprised if it was BS.
I've never heard that. The Zex NMU will adjust the the spray based on bottle pressure. I don't think the temp has anything to do with it, but I could be wrong. If the nitrous is colder then the pressure will be less. I think it's all based on bottle pressure.

I purge because there will be air in the line. It ensures that you will get a full hit. Also, if you leave the bottle open all the time then nitrous is going to seep out of the lines and you will waste more that way. I just pop the trunk everytime I get in or out and open/close the bottle as needed. No big deal.

Leaving pressure on the solenoid at all times could cause it to lock up. I close my bottle after every pass and purge down the pressure.
OP your not running the Zex kit if I remember right so you have an actual solenoid as apposed to the Zex NMU. Hence your system won't meter gas based on nitrous flow. So if your solenoid locks up your car will go rich because it will still flow gas.
OP remember it's not the Nitrous that makes the power, it's the fuel the nitrous allows you to combust. Lean isn't always mean. I gained 50rwhp just by upping my fuel jet recently, no change to the nitrous at all.

I think the problem it fixed I hope I will reconfirm at the track this weekend. I ran today and the nitrous seemed to kick in fine I am bring the bigger jet with me to the track and will test to see if it;s makes a difference for better or for worse. Hopefully within the next month I will hit 11's regardless with the thumpr or stage 3 comp cams I am ordering.
And I think thas what happen the solonoid locked up. I am back to purging it now better safe then sorry and I dont like my car not being at it best so I cant afford the delay for nitrous express to fix the solonoid.

Well if your going to go that route just remember, that Solenoid can lock open just as well as closed. If that happens the only thing you can do is turn the key off.

My car started doing this as well. The past 2 times at the track, it has fallen on its face in 4th gear. Bottle is around 1050psi at launch. It sprays in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then when I go into 4th it lays down. the N20 solenoid fails to open. My car totally loads up with fuel.
My AFR is at about a 11.0 on the 125 shot. On a 100 shot, it is about a 11.8. I know I am not running out of fuel. I'm pretty sure I have a faulty solenoid.
Did you ever get your issue resolved?
