Default Back to back 9.0's in Ol'blue

Well went out to the track on Sunday and made another 9.0! We had a 8 inches of rain Satuday so the track wasn't all there....just seems like I can't catch a break on getting that 8!

Either way it was encouraging to still run a 9.0 with the track conditions!

back-back-9-0s-olblue-photo.jpg

I won't be able to chase the 8 this weekend as I have to compete in the TXDRL 1/8th mile race, got to defend my "Strictly Street" points lead. Supposedly they got people coming in from all over the place and they all want a piece of the blue mustang!!

Nice run though a little late on that green light I'm thinkin...

We had a lot of rain here in St. Louis as well and lots of folks are complaining about track conditions.

I can't wait for some dry weather!

Darn....everybody's on me about cutting a tree!!

It's just Test N Tune guys!! Besides....I kind of had him covered!

All kidding aside, I'm going for a number. Last thing I'm thinking about is cutting a tree. Every pass I run it full out like that has to count. It's hard on everything. So, I don't worry about cutting a tree. I really want to be all the way up on the T/C. I'm not letting go until I see that boost gauge hit 20!

its not a matter of if

Still looked like a great pass.....

no reason to knock down the tree when you are running 9.0's

the mph is off the hook it has mid 8's all over it.....

Car being a little stubborn huh! Ole blue just won't crack that 8 for you! You know you'll get it on the next time out. The weather is getting better over all.

Yeah, but if you sent you're crew who would provide comedy relief on your videos!

However, it would make mine more entertaining!

Thanks guys! I know the car will do it. Just can't put together that perfect moment yet! I also know once I get there it'll be a lot easier to duplicate it......it's just getting that first one under my belt that's killing me!

Nice!!!

Are you still using the D-Spec shocks in the rear? What do you set them to? Your weight transfer seems to be spot on. Last year my car would squat more then I'd like it too.

Nope ditched those a few months back!

They're good to about a 1.5* 60' but they just can't hold up past that.....or at least they couldn't for me.
