Went to the track yesterday and made 3 runs before a fox mustang using 350 shot of nitrous lost control and hit the wall, so they stopped the racing.
I got 15.1 on my first run, 15.0 second and finally on my third broke the 15 sec and went 14.9. I got videos of my first two runs but have a slip for my 14.9 for proof, it was dark and my camcorder battery died before the last run. So here it is
what altitude are you at?
thats what my 2001 gt runs but im at 6,000 feet above sea level!
how do you like your 3.73's?
I think we are at 4 feet above sea level according to couple of people I asked but still not positive. Love the 3.73s they are awesome and really a great improvement over 3.31s + gas mileage on hwy havnt changed

very nice! you look real good in those videos you beat those guys bad what did they run an what kind of 60 ft times did you get
Thanks man, yep i got them both at the end, if you see closely it said left lane won on two of my slips but for some reason the Magnum ran 14.7 when i did 15.1 but i still won at the end.
My 60' ft for:
15.1 was 2.288
15.0 was 2.183
14.9 was 2.216
BTW sorry to be noob but why is 60 ft important, all of my friends were looking at my 60 ft and they said it was great.

60 ft times are where races are won or lost. Dropping the 60' times by a tenth will usually result in the et dropping by two tenths. In a heads up race between two near evenly matched cars the one with the better short time will win almost every time.

We're not the fastest car at the track but we might be having the most fun.
If you're not having fun, then you're taking this stuff too seriously!

That's the track at Mission BC right? I'm moving to Vancouver next spring and if I still have my car then I look forward to running at that track. 4 ft above sea level is much better for 1/4 mile times than 2300 ft above sea level (Castrol Raceway in Edmonton) plus our track isn't even open for the season yet.

Thats great, you should definitely race here, we have Mopac street legal every friday. You can get great times here + they just finished the construction on the track, so the pavement is fresh and new

I'll be in Vancouver mid August and plan on checking out the Mustang show in Langley on August 16. If you're going let me know. We'll be taking my wifes Pony. She competes in the Canadian Figure and Fitness Championships in New Westminister on August 15 so it's a short jaunt to Langley. Greater Vancouver Mustang Association home
