Default 2 step rev. limiter

How does this system actually work? I know of them but again no experience w/ them. I hear that you can tie them into several things.

Very interesting. Is it along the line of a transbrake where it will over rev in the case of trying to stage on footbrake.

How does it know when you want to rev past the first limiter? Do you have to release a switch like a line lock (back to the other subject)

you will have them on a switch off & on for each mode or tied into the line lock switch.....

If the car is a 5-speed you can tie it into a switch to where it engages when the clutch pedal is pressed down. That way you can keep your foot on the mat and the car will stay at the RPM you want it to until you rlease the clutch. It helps to make more consistant launches/reaction times

Yeah, there are lots of different ways to wire one in. Activate it with the line lock, then your good to go.

If it's a 3 step you can tie the second to a clutch on transbrake for consistant launches as was also mentioned. That way the only thing you need to worry about is what chip is in. Just go through your regular routine and the 2 step or 3 step will take care of the rest!

of course being the guy with the antique car....

i think i would be safe in saying the 2 step would work independently of the tuner.....
