Since Nic was nice enough to tell us about his recipe to back up his quater mile time I thought that everyone if willing can spill the beans, if they like, on how they obtained their times. Please describe the engine, trans, gearing, tires, and HONEST quater times.
I'm curious as to who has the fastest combo with the shortest list of mods. Here is mine: 88 GT

(my Acura 1.7 EL (4door civic for you U.S. guys) does low 5's on nitrous and a supercharger) no stickers, excessive drag coefficient
Last night was my first time racing on a track. I was at Englishtown in NJ. First pass 15.8 - no burn out and no traction(i never realized how slick it is up there) and second run was 14.7 with decent burn out and decent traction. I was kinda easy on the gas from the start. I was afraid of spinning them again. Can't wait to go again. Is that good or not. I'm not sure. Oh my mods are below in sig.
This is not mine but a employee at our shop. 88 lx hatch striped (2840lb with driver) with a 6point roll cage. Stock short block with cobra 1.7 rollor rockers, K&N, mac long tube headers, stock computer and electonics except for a msd 6al w/2 step. home built 2spd powerglide with 4000 stall. 410 gears and runs low 12.70s at Saint Louis. This car Impresses the hell out of me. Engine has 100,000 miles on it, and transmisson has no trans brake. He leave the line off his line lock. Thought you guys might enjoy this.

Yeah, but the head gasket really sucked allot out of her. Incon said 11.40's is the norm for that set-up.
I'm soooo beyond that set-up now Things just kind of got outta hand Right Scott!

custom made .060 Wisco pistons, for turbo app.
plus all the coatings on the pistons, heads, and exhaust manifolds/turbine housings
boost around 15psi

Only mods to engine is roller rockers. My other mods is 3.73's, off-road H-pipe, with raven mufflers. Best time 14.61@96 mph. Street tires with no traction. However I'm in the process of hookin my pony up. Going for the 12's naturally aspirated.
