Started at ~20 for first two runs, then dropped it to ~17 or 18 for the last one.
I spun almost all the way through first, and scratched second. I wasn't just sitting and roasting the tires, though. I believe my shifts were fairly good, never missed one!

A friend of mine took a video, I'm hoping to get it up soon, and see it myself. I'll post it up when I get a chance!

Sounds like you have to ride the clutch alittle more on take offs to keep the tires from breaking loose so easily. Maybe lower you launch RPM a little

Yeah, more seat time will help me determine what to do, more than anything else. A good, prepped track will do wonders as well.

Next time after a good burnout (starting in first) try a 2500-3500 rpm launch, this should be good enough for a stock block.
