Hambo - Since I've not been on our site for a few months, thought I would give my two cents worth. Since I'm old-school I prefer 1/4 mile tracks. In any case the principles are the same. The simples way to put it is the mph is directly related to hp, unless you totally blow the tires off the car and have to get out of it. The 1.434 mph difference is hugh, but the 8.342 is most impressive, because hp doesn't translate into good et's unless the car is setup properly. All things equal your 1/8 mile 8.342 would translate approximately to 13.0's his 9.008 translates to about 14.0s. Meaning you would have seen him at the end of the 1/4 mile in your rearview mirror about 10 car lengths back!
