That's what's so odd! She has one! She has a full face just like mine! It was sitting in the car! Heck I had thrown my racing bag in the trunk before we left in case she wanted me to drive the car once so we had everything there.

I just didn't even think about telling her to wear the helmet. She wasn't happy about going 14's the other day.......but she hates to wear the helmet so she wasn't upset about that! LOL

I'm gonna tell her that she got in trouble for no helmet on line! After 18 years of marriage she doesn't always listen to me! Maybe she'll listen to you guys!!


Darn after reading that it looks like I'm going to have to put my visor on my helmet again...... It screws with my glasses so I don't like to have it down. Wonder if I can get a prescription visor!

Thats what i found odd about her not wearing the helmet being married to you....

Just tell her we are not beating up on her just concerned about her saftey.....

You know better than most...

Weird stuff happens more often in slower cars than the fast ones.....

Wait, don't tell me...... It messes up her hair??????

I agree Reggie that weird stuff happens in the slower cars. I think the main reason is that they don't check their cars like we do. We self-tech meticulously because we don't want to get hurt or hurt anyone else. Most slower cars don't even check tire pressure.......

Your both 100% correct.

When I worked construction years ago we did a lot of heavy lifts at the refineries. We could remove the head off of a Reactor with a Demag and know one ever got hurt. there was just too much preparation involved.

Then we'd end up flipping a 28 ton cherry picker while lifting a welding machine because someone forgot to put out the outriggers!

Well don't worry she has already agreed to the helmet for all future trips to the track!

But she refuses to go faster then 10 seconds as the neck brace doesn't match her earings!

What a lucky guy you are, Eric! Having a wife that takes it to the track!! I am sure you are the envy of many men on here!!

I must have missed the whole Challenger thread - but that's a beauty!!
