Its a wonderful little device Ford added to the cars with the assumption most people have no driving skill. It basicly uses a program to control fuel throttle and braking should the tires loose traction (like in a burnout).
It's supposed to replace the skills we learned as kids with a computer program.
I have it turned off in my tune on the GT.
I think I'll trust my own judgement and skill rather then relying on a computer. Besides it changes how a car reacts to some things. That can be a real problem when you start to compensate for something then the car starts cutting power or applying brakes, etc. It makes the car react in a manner that, well honestly I'm not used to or ready for.
I guess I'm just old fashioned. I'd rather trust myself in a situation then the car.
Heck, it took me forever to get used to ABS brakes, I kept wanting to pump them!
