Default Driving to the track on slicks?

Can I drive to the track on MT Drag slicks? Track is about 15 miles away, all back roads no interstates or highways. Yay or nay?

if they aren't DOT approved, they aren't safe for on-road use

without any tread, you are much more prone to hydroplaning, and can easily lose control.

I would definitely say nay.

If it was raining I wouldn't be going to the track anyway. I just don't feel like changing them at the track. It's like a 20 minute ride.

If they were their so called DOT slicks, it would be a little different, but on true slicks it's a ......

+3 that's dangerous, there are too many variables on the street to be running a slick. Jus change them at the track, if not than get a drag radial.

+4 NAY. It's just not worth the risk. Also the tires are not designed for street useage and will wear out very quickly even with just a 15 mile drive.

Dont do it man. You can wear those slicks out in a hurry on the road. Plus ur only going to run from 14 psi and below in those things so you would get a real lose feel just driving them to the track.
