Default 1999 Mustang GT Slicks

Alright... Here is the story... I bought my rear rims (15x10 w/ a 6.5 backspace) and went to buy my tires today... The guy from summit at the tech department told me that 15x10's arent gonna fit... I mounted the rims but without a tire.... They just fit.... But do you think that there is gonna be a problem getting them to fit with a tire on??? Anybody with a 1999, please help... Or if you know anything? Thank you.

What size tire do I need? 26x10x15??? Is this gonna fit? What if I went with a MT Street Radial? What width 315/60/15??? Someone please helppp!!!

26 x 10 or 26 x10w will work fine on the wheel

not sure if it will fit in the wheel well......

I ended up doing the 15x10 with the 6.5bs... I used a MT Street Radial with a 28inch diameter... 275/60/15... Might have been 275/65/15... but either way it is not rubbing!!!! JUST A NASTY LAUNCH...

I have a Mustang GT with headers, off road pipe, slp loudmouth exhasust, air intake, throttlebody, gears, aluminum driveshaft, ford racing clutch, ford racing pressure plate, ford racing flywheel, ford racing clutch cable with a topside adjuster, and a short shifter and its pretty nasty with these tires!! I go with a 3K RPM Launch and it spins for a little but catches and I bang second pretty hard... I would like to do the rear-end and the transmission soon then continue with a 150 shot of spray :-D and then a nice computer tune... Anyone any suggestions?

with those tires, you WILL be doing the transmission pretty soon.

Yea, I figure that... Every time I launch part of me loves it and part of me feels bad.. But Either Way, I gotta make the drivetrain strong enough to handle it... Once I break the trans. I am changing it and then eventually the rear... I wonder how much longer it has ? ? ? ? ? Only time can tell...
