Hi I am drag racing a sn95 and was wondering if anyone uses any software to track all their time slips and weather etc. I looked at Crew Chef and Quarter Jr. but they seem really pricey for what I want to do.
If you're just recording and looking at the data, not really trying to manipulate it. You could use a simple spread sheet.
But, you might want to use more powerfull features, like show all the data for an 85* day, with less than 65% humidity. Then pretty much any basic data base software will do. No need to spend big bux for pre-labeled data fields and fancy graphics.
You're modding and racing a modern computer controlled car - you can figure this out on your own.
Thanks for the reply. I was at the parts store today picking up some NOS and I asked the parts guy about software. One of the customers said they use a program called Strip? I downloaded it today and it seems alright for what I want to do and it is cheap. Seems to track my time slips and weather info and some basics on my car setup. Guess I will try it out and see how it works out for me.
Old school log book here too. I use the notes sections to write myself (very colorful notes) what I did or didn't do. Root cause of the lost. At the end of the year I can see what I need to work on and improve for the next season.

4.6 Auto, 3.73 gears, C&L CAI, Diablo 91 octane tune, drag radials, and a saftey loop. What else do I need for a 14 second bracket car?

I can tell who the old guys are on here! I use a notebook at the track too, but I do enter all the time slips and notes into a spreadsheet later. It's just easier to read that way.

We're not the fastest car at the track but we might be having the most fun.
If you're not having fun, then you're taking this stuff too seriously!
