Redoing the fuel line in a race car. The hose a few of the hoses have leaks. They have the russell crimp design ends on them. I was going to buy new #6 and #8 hose to replace the old stuff(I dont want to get to the track and have another hose spring a leak).
I am looking for tricks or tips on how to get the ends on the hose. It looks as if its not going to be easy. I would guess someone has a trick to making this easier?

Thanks it helped me.. I struggled when I installed mines. Always best to start alittle longer than what you really need for the bad cuts on the braids.

If you don't draw blood a couple times you're not getting the maximum enjoyment from the job.

Love the braided lines, assembling them, not so much!
