Default confussion on what the classes are in drag racing

i always see the different classes in drag racing for the pros... outlaw class etc etc ... i need to know what the class dividers are , what the rules are... what makes an outlaw class car in the outlaw class and not the super street class or something like that... anyone have any links or a simple explanation?

Well, most of them are complete oxymorons, there's a "stock" class that allows supercharged big-blocks in fox-body Mustangs, yeah, REAL "stock".

what type of racing are you looking at ? nmra , ihra, nhra ? They all have web sites and they all have rule books that outline what it takes to be in a certain class . Hope that helps .
