Default Planning my first trip to the track what should i do.....

hey I'm looking to take my 5.0 to the track for the first time. It has uneven length headers, straight h pipe, 2.5 inch cat back, other than that stock. I don't have slicks on it but the tires don't have treads that are all that severe (like these without the side part: http://www.cruizinconceptswholesale....es/tiresad.jpg) With my tires should I be doing a burnout before I race?

I have never dragged before and am kind of wondering what the best way to start is. Rev it up to about 2000 or 2500 and then just dump the clutch fast? Should you do this a bit before the green light, like at the yellow, so as to not waste your time spinning your tires? Also do you generally want to shift at the redline or before it? Any particular tire pressure that I should use? Sorry if these are stupid questions, I have never done this before. Thanks

Yes read that what he sent you its a very good tutorial for new people at the sport to read and figure out all moves
