When I can do a good burn out, I have gotten a best 60' of 1.39. Still usually around 1.45 to 1.41
Right now the car does not really lift off the ground, it just takes off which is what you want. When that day calls for the Trans Brake it's gonna be a different story.

93' LX hatch, 460 with mods, TH400 trans, 9" w/ 3.89 spool. Best (so far!) of 10.18 @ 131 mph with 1.39 60'
very nice stang. what track is that? it looks good.
Thanks Cindy,
It's Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois. They do a very good job prepping the track unlike Greatlakes Dragway just over the boarder in Wisconsin. Byron is known for the wheelstand contests they have every year. Those are wild.
Seeing a launch that perfect, I have to ask what you're running for a rear suspension setup. Anything close to stock?
Nothing stock about the rear suspension. The control arms (upper and lower) are in the stock position but are fully adjustable. The shock/springs are coil overs relocated to the center and has a anti-roll bar to keep the car square during launches. This bar is different from a "sway bar/ pan hard bar" all are different types of suspension bars. See picture below, it's a picture I just pulled at random off ebay. It's showing two.
