Well we all went to the local 1/8 mile track today, my boss owns a small import speedshop and he decided to build him up a honda hatch. He swapped the motor to a B16 DOHC VTECH and even threw a 75 shot of nitrous at it. For what it is it's quick but his shop "posse" kept hyping him up about how he was just going to put it on me when he hits VTECH along with the nitrous, they even went as far as to say that I should probably run my bottle if I wanted to make the race close lol. Well long story short he ran 9.8@76MPH on the spray, I let him go caught him and ran an 8.36@83MPH (1.84 60 ft.) on motor. Yeah it was ugly , I'm sure I'll have a job tomorrow but I had to rub it in a little and let him know that at the track I'm his boss lol. Fox Body FTW

i'm surprised that car hits VTEC on an 1/8 mile. it's too short a track to take advantage of it anyway. torque and displacement will always prevail over VTEC
The VTECH comes on a 5000 rpm's on that car, for all I know he could of had 3 of them in stages and it wouldn't have helped. He at least took it like a champ, the best was him telling me that he was about to reach for the hazard lights when I blew by.

Lol na just enough to let him know that money for money there aint no beating a fox . I swung by the shop today and he was complaining about his ride being pathetic. I tried my best to keep the man cheery and not dog him too much on the subject.

That is why "Pinks" is so popular...it shows there is still a huge drag race population in the US...now if we could have ultimate fighting added that could really be fun

or he could be using a vtech controller and turn the vtech at 3000rpm or so
