28''x12.5x15mt slicks on 1995 Mustang

I am wanting to put 28''x12.5x15 under my car.what is the largest tire yall have run on the sn95 with stock suspension.I will remove quad shock.is this possible without mini-tubs.I am out of gear @ the 1000 ft mark and need all the tire i can put for traction(and i can get some almost new m/t slicks for 75 bucks.

I put a 28x10.5x15 Hoosier Quick Time Pro under a 95 without removing quad shocks. That was with a stock V6 7-8" rim also.

11in I think is by far the biggest you can go with out mini tubs or more and even that you still have to bump out inner well.

why go with a lower gear......

i'm swapping my 3.73's for 3.55's....

in answer to your question there is no way to put a 12.5 tire under that car without mini tubs......

thanks reggie.I talked to a guy @ the track this weekend and he has a set for 100 bucks so i was just checking.thats really what i need to do is to take the 4-10 gears out and put 355- 373.w/axels and good internals.

stroked95.so you used a standard v-6 rim and offset worked with 28x10.5.

if thats what i will do.just to finish out this season I hate to start going into big project at this time of year.im looking for best possible traction and enough tire to help my motor live.Im changing engine combo from sc 302 to a 408 (carb) and i think 4-10 would be closer for that motor.

Just put set of 28x10.50s on it will hold all the power you have, we have guys running 570s on 10in tire with big blocks.

thats what im going to do thats why i was checking on that 15'' fact v6 rim.im looking for something at the track only.rim dont have to look the best as long as it works.
