Default Carnage pics, not for the squemish.

Since everybody likes some good carnage pics, including me, although I prefer if it not be my carnage:

I'm going to need a lot of JB weld


Here's a piece of the #8 cylinder wall. Still has a nice cross hatch on it.

Wow, that bad boy is tore up. Did it do any damage to the heads or anything like that?

Just about all the exhaust valves are bent. Just enough that they don't sit square on the seats. Some new valves should fix it up.

I bought a junk yard 351 that I'm going to put all my top end parts on and finish out the year with it. Then if I can scrape up the coin I'll put a stroker kit in this winter and try again.

that just sucks but it does happen I have had it happen to me also after a few years of running. what brand rod is that. did it get over revved? or did it just fail?

Looks like the rod bolts held up rather well
