Default Front and rear sway bar questions??

This may help all that is interested:

What does removing the front sway bar do for a car during drag racing? Is there any benifit to leaving it on?

Last part: What about the rear sway bar, leave on or take off?

Is there a difference between "anti" roll bar and rear sway bar?

i was told the front sway bar being removed helps the front end travel more thus, transfering more weight to the rear tires. And its a weight reduction off the front

The rear sway bar can be removed for weight savings. I wouldnt think it is as strong as an anti-roll bar?

if you remove the front sway you will get more front end lift which equals more weight tranfer to rear tire thus providing better traction.....

By no means remove the rear sway bar.....

the ain't roll bar does excattly what it implies prevent body roll(ie lateral movement )

FYI never drive the car on the street with the anti roll bar in place

I agree, the understeer with no rear sway bar is pretty bad.

I wish I had removed my front sway bar a long time ago. It really made a noticeable differance.
