Default Going to the track tomorrow. Any advice?

Osceola Dragway at Osceola Indiana.

This is first time for me. I will see first if they'd let a convertible without a roll cage through. If not, then I guess I'm stuck with my motorcycle. Please refer to my setup in my signature.

I have questions like...
1. Should I keep the engine completely cold like it's been sitting for hours?
2. Are burnouts necessary for street tires?
3. Being a 5-speed, should I use my hand brakes to preload the suspension? Or is this a dumb idea?
4. My 3rd gear redlines at 130 mph. Should I keep it there until I hit rev limiter or take chance and shift 4th?
5. Should I lower my tire pressure from 30 to 20 or 25?
6. With my hp and torque, what do you think the best rpm range should I take off?

I have questions like...
1. Should I keep the engine completely cold like it's been sitting for hours?

No the engine should be at normal operating temp.....

2. Are burnouts necessary for street tires?

no just spin them enough to clean off any debris

3. Being a 5-speed, should I use my hand brakes to preload the suspension? Or is this a dumb idea?

NO

4. My 3rd gear redlines at 130 mph. Should I keep it there until I hit rev limiter or take chance and shift 4th?

optimally you should redline every gear......

slim chance you will see 130 mph in a 1/4 mile.....

5. Should I lower my tire pressure from 30 to 20 or 25?

lowering your street tires will do little for you except make them wear quicker

6. With my hp and torque, what do you think the best rpm range should I take off?

the car & track condition will be the deteming factor.....

This will help you a lot......
