I have not yet run my car on the drag so I have no clue what it will run but NO WAY not even close to that. It only weighs around 3200 - 3300 lbs from our calcualtions but it has not been on the scales yet. Where did you get the idea it weighs 5000 lbs???? My car is no drop in the bucket, I only have 35 to 40 grand in it.

Sorry man just being a smart a$$! I'm thinking that if you have 1000 hp you should have no problem getting into the 9's. It would be something that you wouldn't have to even wonder if you will hit the 9's. My car weighs 3115 with me and like I say I'm only about 650- 700 hp and running 10.20's. Maybe only 5 hundred something to the rear wheels.

Nothing taken personally. I do understand where you are coming from. I am being told from everyone around here that it will be a real ***** getting in the 9's with a 5 speed regardless of my HP. I have no clue for I have never had a car with this kind of HP. My biggest problem is the closest 1/4 mile track to Knoxville is Bristol. So I will have to run it locally 1/8 mile until I can get her down to a 1/4 mile track. But the first 8 runs will be trial and error to tune the suspension in. Also I think this cars best potential is on a 1/4 mile track for I do not think I would even have a chance to hit the nitrous on a 1/8 mile. You know how people are, when you get something good they will do nothing but bash you! So I am being told over and over again NO WAY YOU CAN RUN IN THE 9's with a 5 speed. I know a auto would be more consistent and more than likely even slightly better time but I wanted to keep it straight shift because I LIKE a straight shift and the car is for fun not consistent times. Any ways I want so bad to make them eat there words, We will see.

If you can get it to hook its gonna fly.......

i have use very conserative numbers.....

Your ET / MPH computed from your vehicle weight of 3200 pounds and HP of 850 is 9.06 seconds and MPH of 147.86 MPH.......

As soon as the weather cools off i will show you how its done with 5 speed a T5 BTW......

I have had allot of "hot rods" In my life but never anything as serious as this car. So I really have no clue what it will do but only hoping AT LEAST the mid 9's. The car has 850 HP BEFORE the nitrous. I have a 200 plate shot on it but I really doubt I will be able to use it on a 1/8 mile. I will do what I can do to make them eat there words.
