what size of the tires on a 15x4 rims?

I just bougth a set of summit 15x4 rims for my 89 mustang and just wondering what size of tires are better to mach the high on the rear tires,I have it 245/60 R15 on the back,some people say to mach the high have to be metric tires or something like that,please help,thanks

205/70/15 should work......

I have 15x3.5 rims on the front of my car and run 165/80/R15 tires on them. The guys at the tire shop say that's the same size as on the new Beetles. They are in my opinion a real nice fit.

I have 155/80-15 BFG TA's on mine and they work nice.
