Where are you shifting? Your traps seem a little low. My '98 GT trapped 96.9mph in good weather (14.5 E/T) with just a K&N and high-flow cats. Stock 2.73s.

Do you know the altitude at which your track sits. Also, how was the weather at the time? I definitely think you have more in it, especially with those gears- though it looks like you definitely improved upon your 60 ft times on your last outing at the track.

I don't know the alltitude at the track, it was at Numidia Dragway (numidiadragway.net) It was a friday night and the temp was around 75 out with low humidity. I shift @ 5000 using the factory tach (we know how accurate that is) I'm plannning on doing some more mods over the winter, aftermarket gauges, subframe connecters upper lower control arms, and some long tubes.

Your shift points seem fine (a lot of guys waaay over-rev the non-PI cars), so I bet a lot of it was a function of weather and altitude.

The track's website didn't list an altitude (which is odd because most do), but Numidia, PA is at roughly 1000ft. That's already a disadvantage, and if barometric pressure was low and temp was roughly 10 degrees above standard, that could explain at least part of the weakness of the runs.

My best runs were made in kickass early, early spring weather in MD (lousy smarch weather as Homer Simpson says.) Track was roughly 300ft, but given the fact that it was a clear day with high barometric pressure and cool temps (50's) my DA was probably around -2000ft for my 14.5@96.9 run.

Just keep modding and testing, you're on the right track!

im not going to tell you how to build your car, considering mine has about 3 mods on it, lol. but i think you should lose the big throttle body. unless you do some cam/valve/head work, theres not much need for that much fuel.

sometimes to much can cause engine damage

good luck

The throttle body doesn't add fuel, it adds the potential to ingest more air.

You might want to try racing at Cecil in MD. A little trip for you but not outrageous. Link is to a track rental. Last year I made 24 passes. Payments need to be made b/4 the end of the week. Cecil is almost at sea level, "down hill grade", mineshaft air in November, and still hook. PBs' will be abundent.
