Default Not meant to be but consistency is key!

Well lets say that it did not happen but I had the most fun yesterday. I ran 4 runs and here are the break downs:

1st: I know I had fouled plugs and ran anyway to see the difference before replacing.

rt: .300
60' 1.435
1/8 6.490 @ 105.28
1/4 10.204 @ 131.66 mph
Got back to the pit and one of the plugs was barely in there!

2nd:

rt: .059
60' 1.404
1/8 6.465 @ 105.94
1/4 10.182 @ 131.51 (New Personal Best!!)

3rd:

rt: .257
60' 1.435
1/8 6.490 @ 106.14
1/4 10.204 @ 131.66 I remember shifting late on this one

4th:

rt: .089
60' 1.404
1/8 6.477 @ 106.27
1/4 10.185 @ 131.96

I have a kill story and a got killed story!

Got killed: 2nd run

On the second run, I treed the guy (or he just waited!), we both had identical 60' but at about the 1/8 mile I watch this hate to say camero walk right past me like I was sitting still!
He ran a 8.81 to my 10.18

Kill: 4th run

My buddy has a sb s10 truck. He was running 11.30's motor, put in a 125 shot ran 10.50 put in a 250 shot and then we raced.

I treed him and ended up beating him get this... my 10.185 to his 10.202. Talk about close race, it was great.

As I said, yesterday was one of my most fun times.

Reg. I tried to soften the rear some but not much there. Maybe time to switch the rear springs out also.

Wow sounds like you had a blast. What springs are you running now? The Eibach drag launch kit works great.

I have koni adjustable coil overs in the rear. The springs are rated at 125lbs. 14" long. They are bottomed out so I can not lower anymore than they are. Set up was on there when I bought as a roller.

Newest personal best video with me getting smoked!

Racing my buddy's S10 on spray. You can hear my buddy's (Mike) wife not too happy with the outcome in the back ground.

Filming done by my 10 year old son with just a digital camera that shoot videos.

Thanks, it's been in the low to mid 70's w/o the Chicago humidity but being in the sun all day kind of gets to you. I'm still drained of energy.

Hey I was just reading over the first post and on the first run I ran a 10.25 but you guys can see that the car ran pretty consistant.

Nice weather than congrats on the new P.B. Regardless of weather I feel drained everytime I'm done running, just the anticipation of running and throw in a few really close races best feeling in the world
