Default C-4 starting to vibrate/rebuild?

Now that racing season is over it is time to do a tranny job. I have a C-4 and it still functions but seems to have picked up a pulsing vibration. I have looked at replacing it with a TCI with 6 planetary gear with upgraded clutch packs. I was hoping to keep the original case and just rebuild mine. I already have a new manual valve body, 3500 stall converter and deep pan to start with. I was wanting to know if anyone has done their own c-4 rebuild/upgrade and if it would be one of those things better left to a pro? I see they offer a video to walk you through it but they sell you the video too.
thanks guys
ok Reggie...lol

Why i'm alway the guy called out.......

You know i'm still pulling own......

Gears that is.........

But i have been involved with a couple of c4 rebuilds its not that hard if you take your time and follow the directions....

With regard to the parts i highly recommend going with Dynamic all their stuff is top drawer and the last time i dealt with them their tech dept. is great......

Give them a call they will point you in the right direction.......

Thanks, I think I might just tackle it. I love learning how something works. I figure it is easier and cheaper to pick a brain before you pick a bad part. I called on you because you always get back with an answer.
Get a book or get the c-4 rebuild video I keep seeing?
Thanks again Reggie, I will probably be picking your brain again soon.
We did disagree slightly on cam choice or is it just taking me a while to change my mind?LOL
