Lots of mods...times above were on the old combination. Have now added some new Victor Jr. heads CNC'd by TEA, and a Super Victor intake matched up to the heads by Wilson Manifolds.
First time out will be tomorrow with the new combo.
i took my stock 97 cobra to the track in july when it was 95 degrees and ran a best of 14.00 on the factory bfg's (junk in my opinion). terrible wheel spin. anybody else with a stock dohc?
everyone is welcome as long as they abide by the rules.... try going on a lot of the import sites saying you have a Mustang.... now thats fun to watch..
has anybody done the 1/4 mile calculator then raced there mustang on the 1/4 mile. Was it close? I did this calculation with my horsepower and weight, and it said I would run a high 12 or low 13 in the quarter. Yet I have not had time to race it yet.

1995 Gt 13.60@103.58mph with a 1.81 60ft 8.666 1/8 mile on my MT 26"x15"x8-1/2"slicks on weld drag lights. the mods I made are in my Sig. Other mods not listed are 190lph fuel pump stock regulator, Cobra R hood, Steeda TriAxe Shifter, C&L true flow pipe removed smog pump replaced with SP eliminator pulley initial timming at 14. launched at about 3200-3400rpm weight with 1/4 tank fuel w/o driver is #3300.lbs
13.4s seem possible.
I also would like to know the 1/8 to 1/4 mile conversion formula, Anybody??
My best 1/8 mile was 8.1 only one others 8.6 to 8.7
