I have a 89 coupe, an old N.C. state trooper car. I took it to our local track twice now. It's an automatic with underdrive pullies,no a/c,no smog,2 1/2 inch X pipe and two chamber flowmasters with turndowns. My 1/8th mile time was 10.509 at 70 mph and 10.552 at 69.9 mph. I thought that was really slow, so then I put 4.10's in the rear and a trans-go shift kit and it ran 9.809 and 9.813 at 75.6 mph. Are these times good or bad for an auto? Whats other people's times and mods with auto's?

sounds about right for the mods.. last weekend i went 9.507@76mph at the 1/8 mile point. my mods are 373's, hpipe, catback, short shifter. hopefully getting down to 13's in the 1/4 with a cobra intake and a set of drag radials for next year

a 9.809 in the 1/8th is a 15.4 in the 1/4th.. A 10.522 is a 16.4 in the 1/4

91 gt aod, shift kit, ford racing 3.73 gears, mac: headers, off road h-pipe, cat back exhuast, underdrive pulleys, cold air intake, this landed me a 9.436 at 74.25 mph
