Default Need advice on lower control arms

Have a 96 cobra that is mostly used for drag racing (slicks). Suspension is bone stock so chime in with suspension recommendations, especially upper/lower control arms. I don't want the car to be noisy inside when driving on the street. Should I stay with something simple like X2C's Boxer ST upper/lowers or something adjustable like their Boxer R series. Don't know anything about adjustment, just want to hook and stay decently quiet when cruising. What types/brand should I install and I'm also open to suspension suggestions.

I have heard alot of issues with X2C stuff. I like D&D suspension. You said that it is mostly used for drag racing, so I won't worry about it being a bit noisy on the street.

We found the D&D lower control arms noisy - you could barely touch the car and it would squeak and creak. Steeda makes some nice arms, with multi layer, different compounds on the bushing to prevent bind (therefore noise) and aid in performance. Other than Steeda, I'd make sure the control arms have grease fittings if noise is a concern...and trust me, it will be.
We finally removed the D&Ds and put FRPP heavy duty upper and lowers on our 01. Not quite the launch attitude it had before, but much nicer as a daily driver, which is what it's full time job is.

i just had steeda adjustable uppers put in and i felt the differance right away, they gave the car a extra bite at take off. i havent noticed any real extra noise, but then again my exhaust is fairly loud so maybe i just cant here it. steeda lowers comming soon.

Im using SouthSide lower bars on my drag stang with svo uppers... Im not running anything real etreme suspensionwise... Im still using stock 8.8 casing with modified guts and coil-overs moved near the diff... THe lowers and uppers are in the stock locations and works well for a 9 sec stang...

I like my Maximum Motorsports lowers they use 3 piece polys on car end and bearing on axel they are completly silent and rode pretty good, I just added Hotchkis adjustable uppers, install was a pain cutting out stock bushing to slip in new polys, they are quiet also but we had to cut them to get them to adjust far enough. I know someone else who had same problem. But arms are good quaility.
