Hello, I just registered the other day. I too am in the market for a mustang gt. Because I'm on a small budget, I've decided to keep my car search to the '94-95 GT 5 Speed. Here's some reasons why:
You can find them for about $4000 to $6000, some with some basic bolt ons already. Even though they are used, the aftermarket is huge and engine and
tranny rebuild parts are pretty cheap considering. I am actually a '95 Hondog Civic owner and well, anyway

. My dad has a pretty quick '94 GT that he has gotten to go 12.85 @ 106 with a stock short block and cam and stock ported iron heads. Check the cardomain link in my sig to see all the details. Plus the sn-95 has ABS, 4 wheel disc brakes, Airbags (wife requirement), good looks and the 5.0L. Sure, its not as quick out of the box as a 99 and up GT, but for the price, not bad. Have fun with the Fox. That was my choice, but no airbags. The Fox is lighter and the engine is a little easier to make more power with than the '94-95, but only by a little. later
