 Did better my 3rd trip to the track.....
We had a "Night of Fire" racing Saturday night at the the dragstrip
featuring some Jet powered cars. It was quite a show.
I took my car to race in the trophy class because it only cost $5.00 more to
race than to watch.
My last trip to the track, I ran a best time of 14.27 @95 mph.
Since then, I replaced my fuel pump with a carter high-volume and switched
from a 625 cfm carb to a 750.
Saturday night I ran a best time of 13.44 at 100 mph.
My 0-60 ft time was 1.92 on my BFG's radial t/a's.
Now that's more like it.....
My combo is a 71 351C 2v.
bored .030, And Balanced.

Currently a Carter 750 carb
Carter HV fuel pump, holley pressure regulator
MSD 6A, with MSD probillet dist.

Hooker Headers
C-4 with an Edge perfomance 2700 stall converter.
