Default air pressure in tires?

I got a set of Nittos 555 on some 275/35/18 10.5 inch rim. What kind of air pressure should I be running on them at the track? Also, does it make a difference on how much pressure is in the front?

These are a true street tire with stiff sidewalls for cornering and handling. The side walls are hard and not very flexible , they have a greater tendency to round off the tread area at higher pressures . If you lower the psi on your front tires it will help you launch, but won't be to good for your tires(Only if you do it over and over). If i'm not mistaken the air pressure should be around 30 PSI..For the track I would go between 22-24psi. But remember, if you lower the air pressure in the tires you are increasing the friction from the tires to the ground which will slow you down. To be honest with you I wouldn't touch the air pressure becasue with street tires you will see almost no gain and only wreck the tires. Get some good DR tires instead.

I wouldn't go less than 25 lbs of pressure.
