Default carb. help

I just got a proform main body and proform metering block the front one, from JEGS i put it on last night and could not get it to idle right it came with 80s in the front and 84s in the rear, i tryed it with those jets and WAY to much fuel so i put my jets in they are 72s and 78 in the rear. it ldles ok but going down the road it acts like it needs more fuel, I was looking for any advice. Thanks Ronnie / CAR9FAN

It does not idle using the primary jets, the idle circuit in the primary plate is where the adjustment needs to be made.
The primary/secondary jets are for off idle use only.
