I understand I don't know a whole lot about mustang's compared to some, as I just recently saw the light ( the light bieng my 96 mustang gt,) but I did work for ford for awhile, and what is all this talk about 96 gt 5.0's??? When they moved on from the fox body's in 94, they only kept the 5.0 for a year and a half, switching to the 4.6 toward's the end of 95, and I was told zero 5.0's rolled off the line in 96. Am I wrong? Were there some 96 5.0's? I have a 96 myself and it's obviously not a 5.0. I'd be very interested to figure this out once and for all,

There are NO 96 5.0s

Only 94-95 models were 5.0s (of course that means no 95 4.6s), and the 1995 351 Cobra R

Yeah, I was almost sure there were no 96 5.0's but I wanted to double check.

Well lets just say it all depends on how you look at it. It is very possible for there to be a '96 5.0 gt but whoever said it was from the factory. Other then that then you were correct no such thing
