i drive a 96 gt with PI swap, LT headers, x pipe,and steeda pullies. a friend of mine drives a '89 taurus. he plans to take the heads and s/c off of a older model thunder bird expects to beat me. what do you think??

One of those supercoupes stock run like low 15's from what i seen at the track. Which i would think they are on a better platform then the Taurus even if u add the heads and S/C. A high 13 is what i would think your car would run or real super low 14 so i think u could take him.

Member at TCCA supercharged a 3.8L LX Taurus - untuned and with belt slip he dynoed 330 ft/lbs.
If he only "plans" on it then he's got a while to go. He needs the M90, heads, and some accesories to swap as well.
There are untold S/C'd and T/C'd SHOs, which are the better plat to begin with making over 400 wheel that have trouble making low 13's.
I'd ante up for a case of beer and run him. :
