Default Adjustable Control Arms

This weekend I will be installing Granatelli adjustable UCAs and Weight Jacker LCAs. I have searched the web, as well as instructions on both Granatelli and Maximum Motorsports web sites and I have not found any good info on exactly how to adjust these arms. Well, let me rephrase that, I know how to make the adjustments, I just don't know where to set them at as far as length, height (LCA) and pinion angle (UCA).

This is my daily driver, however I will see quite a bit of track (Drag Strip, 1/8th mile) time starting in about 2 weeks. I don't mind getting under there and adjusting for every track visit if needed, but I am also looking for the best grip on and off the track, so a rough ride on the street is not really a big concern. If anyone has experience in this area, or any insight at all, it would be a huge help. Thanks in advance! Matt

To start off adjust the bars so that they are the same length as the stock one's.Then you can start experimenting with adjustments.I would start bye adjust the upper arms to a shorter distance which will give a more pinion angle and help the car launch harder. Start out small with adjustments like a 1/4 to 1/2 turn on each bar. Do ot go to far because you can put a lot of stress on the driveshaft if you get carried away.
Thanks
Doug

Yeah, thats pretty much what I did when I installed them. I haven't had a chance to experiement, however, I did measure my pinion angle, which was at about 2 degrees. I should probably adjust to about 2.5 - 3, but I will wait as the track opens this weekend. According to the G-Timer, my 60' was 2.18 on the street, which is about as good as my best on the track when I was stock. Thanks!
