Very close to 13's in stock from from the 5.0.....need a touch more h.p
Well ....just came back from our annual Dragfest....unfortunately since its a converted air strip with volunteers its only a once a year event. No concrete launch pad.
I launched at 3500 prm MT slicks.
Here's my results of my best run:
1.8585 ----------- 60 ft
8.8911------------------ 1/8 Et
76.27 --------------------1/8 MPH
14.0692------------------1/4 ET
94.95 --------------------1/4 MPH
Now I dropped a few MPH about 1 to 1.5 from last year...I was running BFG drag radials last year.......but am very pleased with the way the slicks worked.
This was my first time using them.
I like the bottom end power the car has.......and it seems to hook up well...and suggestions to improve the top end without sacrificing what I already have for an ET and bottom end torque?
I definitely want to go 4.10's now and a free flowing exhaust from front to back.
I'm thinking long tube headers , x pipe , and better mufflers....any ideas on the best kind for a stock motor?

I would probably run some shorty 1 5/8's headers, and try to keep the exhuast as small as possible so you don't lose any bottom end power. Long tubes would move your powerband up a little, which you don't want if your running stock cam and heads.

If you have 4.10s I would do 1 5/8's long tubes ,and an offroad
h pipe. Keep those super turbos, contrary to what some people
think they are a great flowing muffler. You should definitley pick
up some E.T. and speed on top end due to the long tubes ,and
the 4.10s should get you out of the hole fast enough.
