Default 1989 Mustang LX Ii Want Twelves, What's Next?

i have an 89 lx with a few mods like a trick flow track heat upper and lower, 24 lb injectors, dumps, 80mm throttle body, grannatelli mass air flow sensor, aluminum drive shaft, 3.73's, electric water pump, no power steering or smog pump, underdrive pulleys, a mild cam, msd 6al, cold air intake, long tube headers, and a blaster coil. i have lighteded it up with some racing buckets, fiberglass cowl, and some drag lights.

as far as traction i have tubular upper and lower control arms, bbk drop springs, subframe connectors, sway bars removed, airbag launch kit, and stock tires(ouch)

what should my expectations be. the engine is kind of beat but hanging in there. ive never ran it but i will soon. what do you think?

Get a baseline run, from there we can help you select what you need.

But for starters HEADS...you are missing like 60 HP just by not upgrading to better heads (at least they are not in your sig)

as gtraptor said, heads is what you need. any aftermarket aliminum head will work. Go with 1.94 intake not 2.02 valves as they may require flycutting your pistons since you did not list what cam you had in your car. Tom

Was this a typo? If not and you really do have an 80mm TB, I's say you need to downgrade to at least a 70mm. That much throttle body with an unported intake and a motor that is somewhat stock is only going to cause a power loss.
