Default What Size Slicks with 15x8 Rims

I am going to buy a set of 15x8 rims. I want to put a slick like Hoosiers on this rim. I have a 1993 GT Mustang. What would be my tire size options and should I run a 26 or 28 diameter. I know 9.8 section width fits, that's what my Nitto's are. What the max. section width without rolling the fenders?

I have 26x10.5 ET streets on my 15x8 weld wheels.

I also have 3.73's and the car traps around 106-108 mph with about 1000 rpm left in 4th gear.

So the 26x10.5 fit with out having to modify your fenders?
What do you run for rims at the track? 15x8?
How about fronts? Do you have skinnys or do you use your street tires? I have BFG G-Sports on the fronts.
I know your not suppose to mix normal biased and radials. Do you think that makes any difference when your just running a 1/4 mile?

I have 15x3.5 Welds up front on Kelly radials, and 15x8 Welds on ET Streets. I drive the car to the drag strip on my drag tires, and the car is a little more loose in the steering, but thats expected, and its totally fine on the drag strip.

I did modify my rear fender lips but to fit my street tires, I had no problems with the ET streets before I modified my lips.
