I got a friend here that claims a renault 12 Gordini race version is better than a 2005 Ford Mustang GT . Loooooooooool , it says that the renault runs better in quarter mile , looooooooooooool can i please get some support here , loooool

I had a Gordini 12 TS (around 1979), it was fast but only compared to most other 4cyl cars, nothing to do with V8s. Power was around 75hp, decent numbers at the time. I would say it was a 18 sec car.

Can one beat a new GT, most probably not without some serious engine transplant.

I have researched the web and never found the "Race" version. Was probably a race-prepped car, but not from Renault.
