Question Dry out tires without Burnout? Track too narrow to drive around water box.

the water box, actually the water box is just a 12" deep small ditch that runs across in front of the burnout area. I have stock street radials and I don't want to heat them up. I am forced to go through the water, what would you suggest to get the tires dry. I have been doing just a little spin to try and dry the tires. Bad thing is, I still spin pretty badly unless I go ahead and create a little smoke and as you know that = heat.

unfortunately the only thing you can do is light them up to try to dry up the tires. i would recommend getting a good drag radial tire. I had very good success with the nitto drag radials and they last longer than the other brands(not by much) but either way you can't go wrong with either one. With the drag radials my 60 ft. fell from 2.25 to 1.96 and the car was a hell lot more consistent. Hope this helps you out some.

+1 on the drag tires. If you can't aviod the water box your tires will probably still spin because of the water in the grooves.
