Default I need some advice!!

Ok. I have a 94' Cobra with the mods listed in my sig plus tubuler rear control arms. Last year at the track I could not break into teh 14's. I think I ran a 15.40 @ 96. It seems to me that the mph is on target, but I can't seem to get the ET where it should be. I shift around 4,800 Rpm's and launch around 2 grand. I am not sure where I am going wrong. The car seems to dead hook and pull like a banshee. On the street I have run with several LT1's and 5.0's with no problem. If you guys could give me some advice I'd appreciate it.

Ever have it dynoed? Max HP should be closer to 6000 rpm, not 4800 rpm. Take a look at these dyno results. Note were the real horsepower is made. Do you think your in the correct rpm range to make maximum power with you cobra? Each motor In the link below, shows A increase of power above the 4800 rpm mark.

You can shave a little time by adjusting the tire pressure, and launching closer to 3000 rpm say 2800 rpm.
