Default 29" tires better than 28"

in the process of changing my 1/8 car into a 1/4 bracket car i am going to need tires before too long. i was thinking of going to a 29" tire or maybe even29.5 (right now it has 28") just wondering if going to a bigger tire was better or not

I went from 11.80's to 11.20 by going from 28 to 26. The shorter the tire the lower effect it will have on your gear ratio.

28" tires is as large as you can go and alot of people go really fast on them, so for experience sake go with 28's.

Default 4.88 gears

well it has 4.88 gears so i was on the 7000 rpm chip by about 1000' and now with 29" tires it gets on the limiter at about the finish or just before.
