Question How Much Timing, Shift Points ?

I have a new Ford Racing GT 40 B-303 cam 345hp crate motor in my 93 GT Mustang.
It has about 550 miles on it.
I have the timing at 15 advanced, fuel pressure 39psi.
The best I've run so far is 13.4 @ 102 mph in the 1/4 mile.
I use to run 15 advanced timing on my old 5.0 motor which worked well.
Will I gain anything by upping the timing some more on this motor, or is this as high as I should go?
I have my shift light set at 5500 rpms. It sounds and feels like a good setting. Does that sound like a good shift point?
Thanks

Yea power falls off around that point but u need to get it to the dyno and see where the power falls off at from 5400-5800 depending on your cam and the condition of your valve springs, then u know where to shift. Also the timing at 15 is a little high but if it works go with it but u will lose some top end power with the timing set high.

15 degrees sounds a little high to me to but I'm no expert at this stuff, I had a that same camshaft in my 86 at one time and I swear I used to shift that thing at higher rpm's than 5500 and all I had was a set of 351w heads on it. I did use nitros from time to time so that's probably why I had my timing retarted but I would try doing at pass at 14 degrees and see how she runs.
