Default pointers on parts to build car up right..

I am looking to make a nice street/strip car. I am in the market for a K member, and some other chassis/drivetrain mods to get my car to hook up right. And wanted a good set of D/R tires. Estimate power to the wheels is around 350. Just started this build and im new to mustangs / drag racing

Hiya and welcome. Glad you joined us.
Check out Maximum Motorsports for your suspension parts, such as the sub frame connectors, and various braces. Their parts are top quality. The sub frames should be the weld in type. Since you're wanting to drag race, I'm thinking you might want long tubes for the engine later on, if that's the case, you don't want the 4 point, get the 2 point. The 4 point interferes with long tubes most of the time. Get a driveshaft safety loop, it'd be a requirement by most sanctioning bodies. Get some lower and upper control arms with spherical bushings for racing, or urethane bushings for a street/strip car. Some drag springs and adjustable shocks/struts would finish off the suspension.

one thing to remember when you first get the notion to start a project car, is to think to yourself about your goals. Do you want a 10 second car, 9 second? From here you can start to research and estimate the cost to do this. Mustangs are very versitile when it come to the street/strip scene and can be quite fun to work on. On other site to check out would be 50resto - Latemodel Mustang Parts & Accessories the have a wealth of parts for the fox body style
